Today the senate did a good thing, which is refreshing.

Listen up folks: I am never, ever a fan of wearing a T-shirt under a blazer type thing. Now, I realize this woman (Kirsten Gillibrand) is not wearing a Decemberists ringer tee or something, okay. She is wearing a nice T-shirt--maybe even a shell. But still. Would it really have killed her to put on a blouse? Or a turtleneck, I hear it is cold!

But Susan Collins looks nice, even if I am generally opposed to burgundy. I like that snazzy kind-of Mandarin collar.

Joe Lieberman looks goofy, but only because that is his face.

Man, I wish senator would wear a golfing Santa tie. That would be great.
